RCF RDNET CONTROL-8
Real-Time Monitoring and Control System, 8 master-out
RDNet Control 8 is a real-time monitoring and control system capable of managing up to 256 devices on a data bus or up to 128 devices in a ring topology. All data collected from dependent devices is transmitted to the sound engineer via USB in a local setup or via Ethernet from remote locations. The interface can connect directly to the DSP on each TT+ line array module via a dedicated RDNet protocol, allowing specific presets or change parameters to be handled in real time either individually or by groups. The key point of RDNet Control 8 is to ensure the minimum refresh time (at least 5 per second) for all system data performance (e.g., RMS signals, compressor efficiency, temperature, fan speed, alerts, etc.). Data transfer can also be routed via the provided XLR connectors that control the system over traditional multicore cables.
- PC connection to RDNet via Ethernet (remote control) and USB (direct control)
- Control up to 8 SUB-NETs of up to 32 Dependent Devices
- All devices are cyclically scanned 10 times per second ("PING")
- Automatically detect device placement
- Control of the status and functions of dependent devices
- Monitoring and displaying faults and warnings sent from dependent devices
- Sub-network user filters configuration stored on a removable memory card
